Important information for customers
The locations of valet, hotel drop-off and accessible pick-up and drop-off are not changing. Only the driving route to reach these areas has been updated. If you regularly visit the airport, please follow signage rather than your usual route when entering via the roundabout.
What you need to do
- Allow extra travel time, especially in the first few days
- Follow all road signage and traffic directions leading up to the roundabout
- Drive with caution as conditions change
- Be mindful of pedestrians and new traffic flows
Accessible pick-up and drop-off
We understand how important safe and easy access is for all passengers. The accessible pick-up and drop-off location remains the same. Only the route to access it has changed, starting from the main airport roundabout. Clear signage will be in place to help guide you. If you require assistance, airport staff and valet services remain available to help.
When this is happening
The new arrangements will be in place from Tuesday 9 June 2026, approximately 2:30pm.
We appreciate your patience as we deliver improvements to make Adelaide Airport easier and safer to access for everyone.
Access to the Accessible Pick Up and Drop Off zone
From June 9th 2026, the way vehicles access Atura Circuit will change.
- A new access point off Comley Street will open.
- The current Atura Circuit entry/exit will close.
- All vehicles, including those accessing accessible pick‑up and drop‑off, will need to use the new access route.
The change is part of the Comley Street Link Road project, which:
- Allows additional vehicle access point to and from Export Park to help traffic flow
- Allows additional pedestrian access to and from Export Park
- Creates a more controlled access point to Atura Circuit
Several important things are staying exactly the same:
- The Accessible Pick Up and Drop Off zone is not moving
- How accessible pick up and drop off works once you arrive
- Valet services and assistance
- Facilities and kerbside arrangements in the drop off area
Only the driving route to get there is changing.
Once the change is live:
- Take the first left / exit from the main roundabout (on Sir Richard Williams Ave), onto the new section of Comley Street
- Drive via Comley Street
- Turn right into Atura Circuit using the new access point
- Follow updated road signs directing you to Atura Circuit
- Continue to use the same accessible pick up and drop off location as before
There will be new and updated signage in place to help guide drivers.
- Plan to approach Atura Circuit via Comley Street, not the old entry
- Allow a little extra time at first while getting used to the new route
- Follow signage rather than previous driving habits
- Reassure passengers that the accessible drop off point has not moved
Yes.
- Road and street signage will be updated
- Signs are being designed to make it clearer where to turn and how to reach Atura Circuit
- The expected go‑live date is 09 June 2026 at approximately 2:30pm
- This depends on final safety approval
- If the date changes, we will share updates.
Please note this remains subject to contractor program and a successful Safety Assessment & Go-No-Go.
